My homemade eggnog came out... chunky. And stinking of sulphur.

Gotta remember to throw that out tomorrow.

What was the original recipe? Where did things go wrong?

6 eggs
2 cups of milk
1/4 cup of sugar

--cook (low heat)

add 2 cups more of milk and 1 tsp of vanilla and cool

Things went horribly awry during "--cook." Like, one minute it was a pleasant, slowly thickening goo, and then suddenly, it was scrambled eggs in sugar-milk.

Something about my definition of "low heat" is at fault here.

It seemed vaguely ok when I put it in the fridge? But when I opened it up after the cooling, it stank like bad eggs.

dwinn and I both chewed a few mouthfuls before giving up.
