Today, I realized I'd not encountered enough fiction where people are struck by lightning.

I will surely remedy this before the weekend is out. By writing it myself, of course.

Grave Sight, by Charlaine Harris (and the sequels that come after it)

Although even there, the story opens well after the lightning, although the after effects are key to plot line.
