I have totally never done anything like that before ever.

I have also never scrutinized my collection of paperbacks to see which letters of the alphabet I was missing, and then tried to cultivate an interest in authors beginning with the neglected letters.

While shelving at the library, I always noticed how few authors surnames begin with N, which I thought of as a common letter.

I don't have any either, except maybe in anthologies. For me she's under "short stories I was supposed to read in college but never did."

I have a list of letters with which I have not started story titles: J, K, Q, X, Y, and Z.

It appears on my "long-term to-do list."
